I thought I'd be forced to register to comment. Anyway, I don't mean to criticize but the description for Beta lacks substance in my opinion. I also doubt anyone would neatly fit one Quadra since the descriptions seem quite general (especially Beta) and there would be overlaps with the cognitive functions. If I understood right, it goes like this:
Alpha: Ti, Fe, Ne, Si
Beta: Se, Ni, Ti, Fe
Gamma: Te, Fi, Se, Ni
Delta: Ne, Si, Te, Fi
So any given type could relatively relate to three quadras, right? If I take the example of the type that has been most frequently assigned to me, Ne-Ti, it could be mainly Alpha but also a bit of Beta (Ti/Fe) and Delta (Ne/Si). Although I actually relate mostly to Delta, secondly to Alpha, thirdly to Beta and a bit less to Gamma. (Wtf happened with all the advertising spam from May 8, 2019?)
Do you think the degree to which someone relates to the different Quadras has some correlation with the four sides of the mind in the MBTI? As in, if I was ILE with an unconscious ILI, subconscious SEI and super ego SEE (I don't know the Socionics terms, sorry), then would there be some logic to the hypothetical scenario in which an ILE would mostly relate to Alpha and somewhat to Gamma because of the unconscious ILI?
How can four types that lead with four different functions be gathered in the same group though? That seems grossly oversimplified and I think two types leading with the same function would have more similarities than what is suggested by the Quadras theory. Anyway, I don't expect an answer since it seems this topic died, but I'll check whether there is a reply eventually.
